It is a novel for those who dare trespass where the sacred and profane become one.
Horrors left offscreen are more effective on me. Soon Luke realizes that Tran has fallen into Andrew and Jay’s deadly hands, and the goal becomes not reuniting with Tran, but rescuing him. Wow, that sounded cheesy! As stupid books go this was insanely gruesome but it was all the kind of pasted-on photo-shopped necrophilia, you couldn’t really believe a word of it. Jay, though reluctant, agrees to Andrew’s plan, in part to rid himself of the temptation of falling in love with Tran. And lastly, the predominance of this romantic stuff: One is exquisitw soon to be victim and his ex, the other, two serial killers.

This particular story was not written in that way by multiple authors, instead the title gives a glimpse into the storytelling style itself, where the narratives of these four distinct men build brrite one another to the most horrific and ferocious ending imaginable. It’s extremely gruesome and exquiaite morbid, but inexplicably charming.
