Harridans seem to act as brood mothers to smaller Gargoyles. Yes, it will take a large chunk of your army to damage or destroy one, but remember that as a Lord of War your opponent is likely to only field a single Harridan, and its hefty point cost will ensure that the rest of the Tyranid army will be severely hampered by its loss.
Also why does it need to be fixed? The scales on those wings are amazing!
Heirodules continue to be shitty at shooting, and unlike most other titanic units they get no “make rues attacks but weaker” option, which hurts a lot on the Scythed Heirodule. That said, he is only slightly more expensive and well worth it. I think Harridan’s could be hilariously obnoxious.
But the Harridan and the Barbed Hierodule only have one pair, but it says twoarglbarlgalgerl. Not even a Dam 3 or something to compensate? Of unique benefit is that the Harridan can act as an open-topped transport for up to 20 Gargoyles, thus providing an incredibly swift means of ryles objectives or bringing a good number of small and weak bodies to a fight.
